Policy and Process Enforcement:

We create architectures that use custom trigger scripts to help you maintain control of your software development environment and ensure consistency in your policies and processes. We'll validate that any necessary conditions specified by your organization are met prior to a VOB database update. We provide a point-and-click interface for all policy and/or process enforcement; using pick lists to present valid responses whenever possible. Validate that client machines are properly configured before allowing access to your VOB.

A good software development process mandates that certain policies be followed for the good of the entire organization. Base ClearCase has no policy enforcement around the basic check-in, check-out and merge capabilities - or other ClearCase functions. ClearCase UCM provides a basic process and allows for some policy enforcement as well. Are you looking for more? Make sure all of your policies are followed!
