ClearCase offers limited reporting facilities. Custom reporting solutions can be implemented for base ClearCase and ClearCase UCM in UNIX environments, on any Windows platform, or for heterogeneous environments.
Use a standardized report format to include any information you wish to see listed - filename, version, predecessor, date, user, comments, labels, attributes ... customized to your requirements. Include project, activity, baseline and promotion level information in ClearCase UCM environments. Access your reporting tools through the ClearCase GUI using any of the means discussed on the previous page.
Want to know what elements have changed or been added and removed since a particular build? A differential build report will show just that. Compare any two build labels. Include a variety of information about each element and it's associated meta-data. Sort your report(s) by date, user, filename, attribute, etc ...
Import reports into common formatting tools such as Microsoft Word or Excel for archival, printing or distribution.
